Do Agreste de Pernambuco para o mundo, apresenta histórias atravessadas pela memória, pela identidade e pela cultura popular. Mais do que um festival, a OROCINE é um ponto de encontro entre territórios, vozes e vivências — onde o cinema volta para o seu povo e novas perspectivas emergem da terra.

OROCINE – Orobó Film Festival is born in the Brazilian countryside as a space where cinema reconnects with its roots. From the Agreste of Pernambuco to the world, it brings stories shaped by memory, identity, and popular culture. More than a festival, OROCINE is a meeting point between territories, voices, and lived experiences — where cinema returns to the people and new perspectives emerge from the land.

A V OROCINE – Mostra Orobó de Cinema é dedicada à difusão e valorização do audiovisual produzido no interior do Brasil, ao mesmo tempo em que acolhe obras nacionais e internacionais que promovam diálogos culturais relevantes.
O festival destaca narrativas que exploram identidade, memória e a riqueza da cultura popular.

V OROCINE – Orobó Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing and promoting audiovisual works from inland regions of Brazil, while also welcoming national and international films that engage in meaningful cultural dialogue.
The festival highlights stories that explore identity, memory, and the richness of popular culture.

“Popular Culture: The DNA of a People”

Elegibilidade
• Curtas-metragens (até 20 minutos, incluindo créditos)
• Gêneros aceitos: Ficção, Documentário, Animação e Experimental
• Filmes concluídos a partir de janeiro de 2025
• Máximo de 2 inscrições por realizador(a) ou produtora
Terão prioridade os filmes que:
• Não tenham sido exibidos no interior de Pernambuco
• Não estejam disponíveis publicamente online (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)

Eligibility
• Short films only (up to 20 minutes, including credits)
• Accepted genres: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental
• Films completed from January 2025 onwards
• Maximum of 2 submissions per filmmaker or production company
Priority will be given to films that:
• Have not been screened in inland Pernambuco (Brazil)
• Are not publicly available online (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
