Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards

Please read carefully before submitting your film to the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards:

1. Eligibility
• Submitted films must have been completed within the last fourteen (14) months from the date of submission.
• We accept feature films and short films in any genre.
• Submissions must be either produced in Nigeria or made by a Nigerian filmmaker, including films made in the diaspora.
• Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.

2. Submission Format
• Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway only.
• The submitted version must be final and complete. We do not accept rough cuts or works-in-progress.
• All screeners must be high-quality, with clear audio and visuals.
• Filmmakers must grant BON access to view the submitted film and extract scenes or clips for stage playback and nominee highlight reels.

3. Rights & Permissions
• By submitting a film, the filmmaker confirms they own the rights or have secured the necessary permissions for all content, including music, images, and performances.
• BON Awards reserves the right to use short clips, stills, and promotional materials from selected films for publicity and event use.

4. Selection & Nomination
• Selection decisions are made by a jury of industry professionals.
• Nominees will receive official invitations to attend the awards ceremony.
• BON may offer limited transportation and accommodation support to selected nominees.
