Odù is an immersive film festival that centers the sonic and visual stories of Black and Indigenous artists and activists. Created by the Black Freedom Fellowship and made in collaboration with local artists and movement workers, this grassroots festival includes film screenings, artist talks and community workshops with live evening musical performances.
Odù is presented by the Black Freedom Fellowship with sponsorship from Artist As First Responder.
Odù takes place in the historically Black neighborhood of Dois de Julho in Salvador, Brasil July 21 & 22, 2023. Each of the locations hosting Odù are ran by local community members who will receive community stipends driven by your donations.
