Directors and Producers are encourage to Submit all type of Films related to our Festival promotion of Native, Aboriginal and Indigenous Cultures.
The Realization of these Films with the best input of Art and Talent in their Creation will be taking into account also.

The Quetzalcoalt Indigenous International Film Festival encourage Fiction Films, Documentary Films, Anthropology Films, Research Films, Human Rights with focus on Native, Aboriginal and Indigenous Exploration, sustainability, Pride and Conservation of Heritage works of Cinema.

ORGANIZATION

The Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival is an independent and private organization owned alone, uninfluenced, unbiased, and non affiliated with a political or religious entity.

Arts
The mission of the Festival is to promote, propagate and explore the understanding of all forms of expression relevant to the cinema with the main priority of Indigenous and Native World Culture that Describes, promotes and documents it .

Arts and sound image in motion (experimental audiovisual, short film, feature film, documentaries, public meetings, educational meetings) throughout the year and on the event dates.

The aim of the Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival is to organize the Festival each year.
This while promoting the arts, the Festival brings human communion between different cultures and societies for the growth and improvement of the human condition.

THE MISSION

The Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival believes of promoting Art not as a competition but as a celebration of human expression.

Please Read this Carefully :

In the official selection, the Festival will present an exclusive selection of films, with the aim of offering quality and excellence in all forms of expression: independent films, genre productions, works of art renowned authors, emerging talents in film, research, experimentation, animated films, visual arts and documentaries, as well as major productions.

In addition to the films of the official selection, there might be Art Exhibitions, Art Installations, screenings and celebrations of retro films that are in the public domain and / or in the scoop of Retro, Cult, (commercial films, non-commercial), the films will be chosen to the discretion of the artistic director in charge of the festival at their respective year. During the Festival there might be preview screenings of films not included in the Official Selection, special events, public encounters, master classes, retrospectives, re-editions, exhibitions as well as music performances.

Festival where Art - Films - Music have a conversation with humans and Culture

The Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival is to organize the Festival each year in a different city / a different country. But this might change or stay in a city or different city and or not represents an obligation from the Festival to the Winners to be different every edition in a different city.

The Festival wish to bring human communion between different cultures and societies for the growth and improvement of the human condition.

Festival does not pay fees for screening.
Festival does not offer economic awards or cash prizes.
Festival does give Digital Certificates for recognition.

QIIFF reserves the right to screen or not any short film or feature film ,
even after the Award or Official Selection is given.
This is due many considerations.

Code of Conduct applies during all time after Selection from us.
any Misconduct against the Festival, Team Members, via email, phone, letter, Multi media. or personal even after the festival. will give Public Disqualification status if the Festival sees the need to protect its integrity.
