We have aligned ourselves with top Industry Insiders to view the top log lines. This gives the opportunity to possibly gain the exposure needed for your big break into the film industry. Our community of experts are ready to not only provide rare opportunities but, to also ensure your successful longevity in the industry.

10 finalists will be chosen, and each will receive extended development notes, treatment, and a script development deal. Finalists have six weeks to complete the final draft of their scripts for final judging.

Our team of Industry professionals evaluates the completed screenplays and decides the best screenplay. The Grand Prize Winner receives a Fast Lane Platinum Pass. This grants you access to our pool of network executives, producers and aggregators. Not only will you meet via Zoom with an industry executive and get extensive feedback on your screenplay, they provide advice vital to your film career.

Log line entry rewards include evaluation, feedback, treatment, market report and script development. Winners will also receive crowdfunding planning assistance and pre-production services, including script packaging assistance for pitching and/or production.

Concepts/Log Lines must be the original work of the author(s) and may not be encumbered by any third party. Concept/Log Lines that have been sold, produced, or are currently optioned are not eligible.
Submissions are accepted electronically on FilmFreeway and the https:/producedbyashlee.com/festivals website.
There is no limit to the number of concept/log line you may submit, but each concept/log line submitted must hit the current theme of the film festival.
All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer(s).
Material written by writing teams must be submitted by one of the writers, with consent of the other(s). All writers must be credited on title page.
If a writing team is chosen as a winner, prizes will be given to the person who submits the project.
Please proofread your concept/log line very carefully before submitting.
It is recommended that original material be registered with the WGA or The Library of Congress before submitting to any competition, however we do not require registration.
All ownership and rights to the concept/log line submitted to this contest remains with the original rights holders.

ELIGIBILITY:

All writers at least 18 years of age are eligible.
All persons from anywhere in the world are eligible; however, the material submitted must be in English.
There are no requirements as to when the material was written.
The material submitted must not be encumbered by any obligation to, or option held by, a third party prior to entering the competition.
Any submitted work that becomes optioned, published, produced or purchased between the time of submission and the end of the judging period will no longer be eligible.
Material should be submitted in standard format, font, spacing and margin.
Adaptations are ineligible unless the underlying rights are owned by the writer or the work is in the public domain.
All material must be submitted electronically as a PDF or it will not be eligible.
