I am absolutely thrilled that my Hit Me TV Pilot Episode made the final in the category at the New York International Screenplay Awards. I feel incredibly honoured, but also very humble and deeply thankful to the entire festival team for the time, care, and attention given to reviewing my project. Winning has been truly encouraging and has given me even more belief in both my writing and the future of this series.
Your dedication to screenwriters and to supporting the industry is clear to see, and the professionalism and passion behind the festival made this a wonderful experience from start to finish. I learned a great deal, not only from this submission but also from my previous experience with the festival, and I genuinely feel that it has helped me grow as a writer.
I highly recommend the New York International Screenplay Awards to any writer looking for a festival that truly values storytelling and emerging talent. The encouragement and recognition I received have helped me believe that my project, Hit Me, has a real chance of achieving a lifelong dream, and fulfilling a promise I made to my brother, who sadly passed away at a very young age.
A huge thank you to the entire festival team. Your support means more than words can express.
10/10 experience: I look forward to submitting more projects with you in the future.

    With heartfelt thanks,
    Alex Brown

I had a wonderful experience with the New York International Awards. The festival provides a meaningful platform for writers and filmmakers to have their work recognized, and I’m honored that my screenplay Lawfully Yours placed as a Quarterfinalist.

Being selected gave me added encouragement to keep building my screenwriting career and sharing my work with a wider audience. I also appreciated the invitation to attend the awards ceremony in New York. Although I was unable to make it, the opportunity itself showed the festival’s commitment to creating real networking moments for artists.

For anyone looking for a professional and encouraging festival experience, I would definitely recommend the New York International Awards.
