Piano B Film Festival (Plan B Film Festival) is a great little film festival in the heart of Rome.
“Piano B produzioni” is an Italian movie production company based in Rome, since a lot of year in the cinema industry.
Among its most important productions the film/documentary distributed throughout the world ENNIO by Giuseppe Tornatore, on the life of Maestro Ennio Morricone.
The festival was born to create a moment dedicated to getting to know new authors and to be able to give cinephiles from all over the world the opportunity to compare themselves, creating concrete opportunities for professionals in the cine-audiovisual world.
Through the festival we could discover new authors and give them the opportunity to produce new works.
The festival is mainly focused on short films, but there will also be a section dedicated to feature films.
The first edition of the festival will take place in Rome at the NUOVO CINEMA AQUILA.
A full day dedicated to screenings, introductions, discussions and awards.

Will be selected and screen also three projects from the focus Country of the current edition

Best fiction short film, laurel and trophy + 150€

Short films, feature films and animated films from all over the world that have been produced since 2017 can submit for the festival.

The maximum duration of short films is 30 minutes including credits

The minimum duration of feature films is 75 minutes including credits

No any limit of duration for documentaries

All works will automatically participate in the best original soundtrack award

To participate as a local work, the director must be from Rome or the film must have been shot mainly in Rome.

Selected projects need to provide the film with English subtitles.
H264 or prores files. If DCP is available will be better for a better quality screening.

Each author is responsible for the contents of his own work and the dissemination of music and images protected by copyright.

Projects from Serbia could be selected for each categories or to be part in the festival out of competition.
Submission free for the film of the focus Country (with the exception of the emergency deadline)
