This was my second year attending BIAF (this time as a filmmaker) and both times it has been such a great experience! The whole BIAF team foster a very welcoming environment and I always leave having made new friends.

Filmmaker badges are a great touch, as it helps with spotting other filmmakers or if people want to come up to you and ask questions then they can do so. Also a BSL interpreter is always available.

Kate's passion and energy for running the festival is unmatched. I can't wait for next year!

Thank you, Brighton International Animation Festival for selecting my short film. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend in person this year, but if there are any more opportunities, I'd definitely be there and enjoy the fest.

  • We were thrilled to have had our animated music video selected by this amazing festival - and were very sorry not have been able to attend!

    Communication throughout was excellent.

Judging by social media and follow-up photos it looked like so much fun –selections spanned a wonderful range of possibilities for animation - we are honored to have had our work included and if we are so fortunate as to have a work selected again will try our best to attend! Many thanks!
