BASES DEL CONCURSO / BILBAO SERIESLAND

Ámbito del Festival
La Asociación Cultural Floston, convoca la 10ª Edición del Festival. Éste reúne el mejor contenido de entretenimiento de formato corto en diferentes categorías con el fin de promocionar la innovación en formatos y la creatividad del sector. La Asociación Cultural Floston , con NIF F95782371, es la entidad que dirige y gestiona el Festival Seriesland, a través, como su máximo representante, de la “Organización” y la “Dirección” del Festival.

Inscripción de participación
El período de inscripción de participación es del 1 de Mayo al 31 de Julio de 2024 La inscripción se realiza a través de FILMFREEWAY. www.filmfreeway.com/BilbaoSeriesland. Todas las tasas de inscripción son no-reembolsables y el evento se puede cancelar sin previo aviso o realizarse online. Las tasas se pueden consultar en FILMFREEWAY. Se deberá rellenar la ficha técnica con los detalles, así como suministrar un link para su visualización online (puede ser privado, pero deberá estar colgado online). Los detalles sobre la serie pueden ser modificados por el festival si se estima necesario. Se abonarán las tasas correspondientes, una por cada serie y/o trailer, si no, la inscripción no se hará efectiva. La tasa de inscripción será considerada como un donativo para ayudar a la creación del festival.
Cada obra deberá llevar aparejada una inscripción individual.
La persona que envía el formulario confirma ser mayor de edad y garantiza la plena autoría y originalidad de la obra, así como la titularidad de los derechos sobre la misma o la tenencia de las debidas autorizaciones para su utilización. En el mismo sentido, quien practica la inscripción será responsable frente a la Organización del Festival de cuantas infracciones, indemnizaciones u otros daños pudieren derivarse para este último con motivo del incumplimiento de las presentes garantías de originalidad y autoría y/o titularidad de derechos.
La inscripción a este festival no es excluyente del derecho de participar en cualquier otro festival, concurso o evento relacionado.
Dos meses antes de la fecha del festival, se comunicará por email a las personas participantes.
La persona que envía confirma ser mayor de edad, además del productor(a)/director(a)/creador(a) o actuar en nombre los/as mismos/as. La persona que envío es autora o debe tener permiso expreso de los mismo, así como estar en disposición de todos los derechos, tanto de las imágenes como de los sonidos y la banda sonora. La persona que envía la serie asumirá todos los cargos en caso de existir una acusación legal por estos derechos; el festival no se responsabiliza de que se incumpla esta norma.

Información sobre las obras
La Dirección del Festival SERIESLAND se reserva el derecho de solicitar a los participantes los títulos de crédito completos y veraces respecto al trabajo realizado de trailer obra que haya resultado pre-seleccionada.
En caso de la existencia de cualquier discrepancia, la Dirección del Festival se reserva el derecho de declarar no elegible una candidatura.
La Organización del Festival no se responsabilizará de los errores u omisiones en la información que le haya sido facilitada. En caso de detectar falsedad en algunos de los datos suministrados, la Dirección del Festival podrá eliminar la participación de la candidatura.

Selección, jurado y votación
La organización del Festival hará público en su página web o redes sociales el listado de los trailers que participarán en la 4ª Edición.
Sobre las candidaturas, un jurado seleccionará las ganadoras de cada categoría. El jurado del Festival estará integrado por profesionales de la industria audiovisual, de las artes y de la cultura. Las decisiones del jurado están sometidas a su discrecionalidad, en el entender de su leal y profesional saber. No obstante, se juzgará en base a la calidad técnica y al mérito técnico-creativo de sus creadores y no se tendrá en cuenta el idioma o la procedencia. La decisión del comité y del jurado es final y inapelable.
Las fechas indicadas de preselección, votación de candidaturas y nominaciones indicadas, podrán ser modificadas por decisión de la Dirección del Festival, por razones de índole logística, organizativa o de cualquier otra.
La decisión del jurado se hará pública en la gala de celebración del Bilborock, que tendrá lugar el 8-9 de Noviembre de 2024.

Material y autorización de uso
Al tiempo en que se hagan públicas las candidaturas nominadas a cualquier especialidad, los participantes harán entrega a la Dirección del Festival de un link a Youtube público, con una a copia de la obra en HD y formato H264.
Podrán ser rechazadas todas aquellas copias o materiales que no cumplan unos requisitos óptimos de calidad.
La inscripción en el Festival, y la concurrencia de un trailer a los Premios, suponen la concesión al Festival SERIESLAND, por parte de los propietarios de sus derechos, de la autorización para la utilización de la obra para su reproducción, comunicación pública, y transformación, en el marco de la promoción y la entrega de los Premios del Festival SERIESLAND, así como de la autorización para la utilización, incluida la adaptación o transformación para los fines previstos, de todos los materiales promocionales, fotografías, música e imágenes para cualquier actividad o la realización de cualquier elemento informativo o promocional de los Premios del Festival. Asimismo, las personas físicas participantes en la gala del Festival y cualesquiera otros eventos que se organicen en relación con estos premios, autorizan la utilización de su imagen para cualquier actividad o la realización de cualquier elemento informativo o promocional en relación al Festival.

Entrega de premios
Cada premio del Festival consistirá en una mención y en la entrega de un trofeo representativo.
El premio será entregado a la persona inscrita como representante y declarada como ganadora por el jurado en su categoría. En el caso de las categorías compartidas por más de una persona, el trofeo se entregará a la persona que figure como máximo responsable en la inscripción al concurso. Si el premio recae en personas jurídicas, éstas deberán designar a un representante persona física responsable del trabajo realizado en la categoría correspondiente.
A las cantidades económicas entregadas se le efectuarán las retenciones fiscales que resulten obligatorias en aplicación de las normas fiscales vigentes (hasta ahora un 20% de IRPF)
Los trofeos serán fabricados expresamente para este fin y en edición exclusiva.
Se hará entrega únicamente de un trofeo por premio. No obstante, puede autorizarse por la Dirección del Festival un duplicado a solicitud expresa de la persona premiada cuando sean varios los responsables en una categoría, o cuando así lo solicite un premiado, y cuyo coste habrá de ser sufragado por los interesados.
La Organización del Festival no se hace responsable del envío de los trofeos por correo postal o mensajería. En caso de que los participantes premiados no asistan al evento y deseen que se les sea enviada la estatuilla, deberán solicitarlo expresamente en el plazo de 15 días desde la celebración del Festival y asumir los gastos del envío. Si pasados 15 días el galardonado no reclama su reconocimiento, éste no se hará efectivo.

Aceptación de las presentes condiciones y modificaciones
La inscripción y participación en el Festival implica por parte de sus participantes la aceptación sin reservas de la totalidad de los términos contenidos en las presentes Bases.
La Dirección del Festival se reserva el derecho de modificar en cualquier momento las presentes Bases, respetando la legislación vigente, en orden a la consecución del buen fin del Festival, y previa la debida comunicación a los participantes.

Condiciones de la candidatura
Se podrá participar, no importa cuando esté creada y/o distribuida la obra, pero con preferencia sobre los contenidos de 2023 y 2024 e inferiores en duración a 20 minutos.
No se tendrá en cuenta el idioma, la procedencia, pero deberán tener obligatoriamente subtítulos en inglés y/o español. Aquellas series en habla no inglesa deberán ser subtituladas al inglés, aquellas en inglés, a castellano, y las series en Euskera, a inglés o Castellano, indistintamente.
Las categorías a concurso son:
SERIE DIGITAL DE FICCIÓN:
Se entiende por serie digital de ficción como un contenido seriado de ficción que conste mínimo de tres episodios y distribuido (al menos lo presentado) inicialmente en Internet.
Cada serie web podrá optar a más de un premio. Las categorías y premios son susceptibles de cambios si el festival lo estima necesario.
Los premios a los que optan las series de esta categoría son:

SERIE DIGITAL DE NO FICCIÓN
Se entiende por serie digital de NO ficción como un contenido seriado con contenido de no ficción, documental, divulgativo, de entretenimiento, estilo “influencer” o cualquier otro contenido de no ficción que conste mínimo de tres episodios y distribuido (al menos lo presentado) inicialmente en Internet. Los premios a los que optan las series de esta categoría son:

MEJOR HOST/STREAMER INTERNACIONAL

PILOTO DE SERIE DIGITAL
Se entiende por piloto de serie digital todo aquel contenido con intención de una serialidad clara, aquellos contenidos que no cumplan con una estructura propia de un episodio serán descartados del concurso. El premio al que optan las series de esta categoría son:
MEJOR PILOTO

TRAILER DE SERIE DIGITAL
Se entiende por trailer de serie digital un formato corto de menos de dos minutos que represente una serie digital, suponiendo un resumen de imágenes de la misma, tanto de ficción como de no ficción (ver definición arriba). Puede tratarse de una obra nunca producida (fake trailer, teaser trailer) o de una obra producida (trailer). El premio al que optan los trailers de esta categoría son:
MEJOR TRAILER
El premio será votado el día de la proyección por las personas asistentes y presentes que decidan emitir su voto. Cada persona asistente podrá votar en total UNA vez, se entregará una papeleta y se podrá votar por una, dos o tres series favoritas, cada voto otorgará un punto a la serie votada. El resultado del trailer más votado será el ganador.

Protección de datos
Responsable del tratamiento: el responsable del tratamiento de los datos recabados es Asociación Cultural Floston, con NIF F95782371 y domicilio en c/Ronda 31 4 D, Bilbao 48005 (Bizkaia), en su condición de organizador y responsable del Festival SeriesLand. La presente cláusula regula la recogida y tratamiento de los datos personales que sean proporcionados por los participantes en el momento de la inscripción de participación mediante la cumplimentación del formulario.
Inscripción de participación: mediante la inscripción de participación en el Festival, el participante proporciona sus datos identificativos, como nombre, apellidos y correo electrónico, para la tramitación de la inscripción en el Festival y permitir su participación. La base jurídica del tratamiento de tales datos se sustenta en el consentimiento del participante. Sus datos serán conservados mientras forme parte de la comunidad y se encuentre registrado, salvo que sean aplicables otros plazos.
Contacto: El participante puede ponerse en contacto, a través de info@seriesland.eus. Deberá facilitar sus dados identificativos, así como el motivo, asunto o cuestión. Asociación Cultural Floston utilizará esos datos para tramitar la consulta y contactar con el participante.
La base jurídica del tratamiento de tales datos se sustenta en el consentimiento del participante. El plazo de conservación de los datos para esta finalidad será un año, salvo que sean aplicables otros plazos.
Ejercicio de derechos: asimismo, el participante puede revocar el consentimiento para el tratamiento, haciendo ejercicio de los derechos de acceso, rectificación, supresión, portabilidad, oposición y limitación al tratamiento, poniéndolo en conocimiento de Asociación Cultural Floston a través de un correo electrónico dirigido a info@seriesland.eus o indicándolo a la dirección arriba indicada, señalando como asunto “Protección de Datos”. En alguna ocasión especial, podremos solicitar al participante que acredite su identidad mediante documento oficial, por ejemplo para para evitar el acceso a sus datos por parte de terceros.
Por último, el participante podrá comunicar cualquier modificación por escrito o solicitar la baja, indicándolo en cualquiera de las direcciones facilitadas. En cualquier momento, el participante podrá presentar una reclamación ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos para hacer valer sus derechos.

1. Jaialdiaren esparrua:
Floston Kultura Elkarteak BILBAO SERIESLAND lehiaketaren 10. edizioa antolatu du, zeinak formatu laburreko entretenimendu-edukirik onena biltzen baitu hainbat kategoriatan, sektoreko formatuen berrikuntza eta sormena sustatzeko. Floston Elkarte Kulturala zuzentzen eta kudeatzen du SeriesLand jaialdia (IFZ: F95782371), eta, ildo horretan, jaialdia antolatzeaz eta zuzentzeaz arduratzen da, ordezkari goren gisa.

2. Parte hartzeko izen-ematea
Izena emateko epea 2024ko maiatzaren 1etik uztailaren 31ra bitartekoa da. FILMFREEWAY. www.filmfreeway.com/BilbaoSeriesland. Izen-emate tasa guztiak ez-itzulgarriak dira eta gertaera bertan behera utz daiteke aldez aurretik abisatu gabe edo online egin daiteke. Tasak FILMFREEWAYn kontsulta daitezke.
Inprimaki horrekin batera fitxa tekniko bat izango da, eta eskatutako informazioarekin bete beharko da. Horretaz gainera, obraren edukirako link bat jarri behar da, online ikusteko. Obra bakoitzak inskripzio indibidual bat izan beharko du.
Inprimakia bidaltzen duen pertsonak berretsi behar du adinduna dela, eta bermatu behar ditu, batetik, obraren erabateko egiletza eta, bestetik, haren originaltasuna. Ziurtatu behar du, obraren gaineko eskubideen titularra dela edo badituela obra erabiltzeko behar diren baimenak. Era berean, izena ematen duenak izango du ardura jaialdiaren antolatzaileen aurrean, baldin eta jaialdiaren esparruan arau-hauste, kalte-ordain edo bestelako kalterik gertatuko balitz originaltasun- eta egiletza-berme hauek eta/edo eskubideen titulartasuna ez betetzeagatik.
Jaialdi honetan izena emateak ez du galarazten zerikusia duen beste edozein jaialdi, lehiaketa edo ekitalditan parte hartzeko eskubidea.
Jaialdia hasi baino bi hilabete lehenago, parte hartzaileei jakinaraziko zaie, posta elektronikoz.

3. Obra buruzko informazioa
SERIESLAND Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak berea du eskubidea parte-hartzaileei kreditu-titulu osoak eta egiazkoak eskatzeko, aurrez hautatutako trailer obrari dagokionez.
Desadostasunik izanez gero, Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak eskubidea izango du hautagai bat hautaezintzat jotzeko.
Jaialdiaren antolatzaileek ez dute izango erantzukizunik eman dioten informazioan egindako akats edo hutsegiteengatik. Emandako datu batzuk faltsuak direla antzemanez gero, Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak bertan behera utzi ahalko du hautagai horren parte-hartzea.

4. Hautaketa, epaimahaia eta bozketa
Jaialdiaren antolatzaileek webgunean edo bere sare sozialetan emango dute jakitera lehen edizioan parte hartuko duten trailerren zerrenda.
Hautagaiei dagokienez, epaimahai batek aukeratuko ditu kategoria bakoitzeko irabazle izendatuak. Epaimahaia ikus-entzunezkoen, arteen eta kulturaren industriako profesionalek osatuko dute. Epaimahaiaren erabakiak diskrezionalak izango dira, haien jakintza leiala eta profesionala aintzat harturik. Hala ere, sortzaileen kalitate teknikoaren eta meritu tekniko-sortzailearen arabera epaituko da, eta ez da kontuan hartuko hizkuntza edo jatorria. Batzordearen eta epaimahaiaren erabakia erabatekoa eta apelaezina da. Batzorde antolatzaileko kideek eta epaimahaikideek ezin izango dute parte hartu lehiaketan.
Aurre-hautaketako, hautagai-zerrenden bozketako eta adierazitako izendapenetako data horiek aldatu ahal izango dira Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak hala erabakiz gero, arrazoi logistikoak, antolaketakoak edo bestelakoak direla eta.
Epaimahaiaren erabakia Bilborockeko galan jakinaraziko da, 2024eko azaroaren 8-9an.

5. Materiala eta erabiltzeko baimena
Edozein espezialitatetarako izendatutako hautagaiak publiko egiten diren unean, parte-hartzaileek YouTuberako link bat emango diote Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzari, zeinean obraren kopia bat egongo baita HDn eta H264 formatuan.
Kopia edo material guztiak baztertu ahal izango dira, ez badituzte betetzen kalitate-baldintza egokiak.
Jaialdian izena emateak eta sarietara trailer bat aurkezteak esan nahi du trailerraren jabeak SERIESLAND Jaialdiari ematen dizkiola haren gaineko eskubideak, eta inplikatzen du, orobat, baimena ematen diola jaialdiari obra erreproduzitzeko, jendaurrean komunikatzeko eta eraldatzeko, betiere SERIESLAND jaialdia sustatzeko eta sariak banatzeko ekitaldiekin loturik. Orobat, baimena ematen dio edozein jardueratarako sustapen-material, argazki, musika eta irudi guztiak erabiltzeko aurreikusitako helburuetarako, egokitzapena edo eraldaketa barne, jaialdiko sari-banaketarako edozein informazio- edo sustapen-elementu egin ahal izateko. Era berean, jaialdiko galan eta sari horiekin lotuta antolatzen diren bestelako ekitaldietan parte hartzen duten pertsona fisikoek baimena ematen dute beren irudia edozein jardueratarako erabiltzeko edo jaialdiari buruzko edozein informazio- edo sustapen-elementutan baliatzeko.

6. Sari banakea
Sari bakoitza aipamen bat izango da, eta, horrekin batera, garaikur bat.
Saria ordezkari gisa inskribatutako eta epaimahaiak bere kategorian irabazle deklaratutako pertsonari emango zaio. Pertsona batek baino gehiagok partekaturiko kategorien kasuan, lehiaketan izena emateko arduradun nagusi gisa aurkezturiko pertsonari emango zaio garaikurra. Saria pertsona juridikoei ematen bazaie, horiek pertsona fisiko bat izendatu beharko dute eta hark izango du dagokion kategorian egindako lanaren ardura. (orain arte %20ko PFEZ)
Entregatutako diru-zenbatekoei nahitaezko zerga-atxikipenak egingo zaizkie, indarreko zerga-arauak aplikatuz.
Garaikurrak espresuki fabrikatuko dira xede honetarako eta edizio esklusiboan.
Sari bakoitzeko garaikur bat emango da. Hala ere, Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak kopia bat baimendu dezake, saridunak espresuki hala eskatzen badu, edo kategoria bateko arduradunak bat baino gehiago badira. Interesdunek ordaindu beharko dute horren gaineko kostua.
Jaialdiaren antolatzaileak ez dira arduratuko garaikurrak postaz edo mezularitzaz bidaltzeaz. Saritutako parte-hartzaileak ez badaude ekitaldian eta estatuatxoa bidaltzea nahi badute, espreski eskatu beharko dute jaialdia egin eta 15 eguneko epean, eta beren gain hartu beharko dituzte bidalketaren gastuak. 15 egun igaro ondoren saridunak ez badu erreklamatzen saria, ez da ordainduko.

7. Baldintza hauen onartzea eta aldaketak
Jaialdian izena emateak eta parte hartzeak esan nahi du parte-hartzaileek onartu egiten dituztela oinarri hauetan jasotako termino guztiak, inolako mugarik gabe.
Jaialdiaren Zuzendaritzak eskubidea izango du oinarri hauek noiznahi aldatzeko, betiere indarrean dagoen legeria errespetatuta, jaialdia behar bezala egin dadin eta aldez aurretik parte-hartzaileei behar bezala jakinarazita.

8. Hautagaiaren baldintzak
Parte hartu ahal izango da, berdin dio obra noiz sortuta eta/edo banatuta dagoen, baina 2023ko eta 2024ko edukiei lehentasuna emango zaie eta 20 minututik beherakoak direnei.
Ez da kontuan hartuko hizkuntza, jatorria, baina nahitaez izan beharko dituzte ingelesezko eta/edo gaztelaniazko azpitituluak. Ingelesez besteko serieei ingelesezko azpitituluak jarri beharko zaizkie, ingelesezkoei gaztelaniazkoak, eta euskaraz, ingelesez edo gaztelaniaz daudenei.

FIKZIOZKO SERIE DIGITALA:
Fikziozko serie digitaltzat hartzen da fikziozko eduki seriatu bat, gutxienez hiru atal dituena eta hasieran Interneten aurkeztutakoa (gutxienez) banatzen duena.
Web serie bakoitzak sari bat baino gehiago jaso ahal izango ditu. Kategoriak eta sariak alda daitezke, jaialdiak beharrezkotzat jotzen badu.

EZ-FIKZIOZKO serie digitala eduki seriatu bat da, eduki hauek dituena: ez-fikzioa, dokumentala, dibulgaziokoa, entretenimendukoa, "influencer" estiloa edo gutxienez hiru pasarte dituen eta hasieran Interneten aurkeztu zena (gutxienez) banatzen duen ez-fikziozko beste edozein eduki. Serie digitaleko pilotutzat hartzen da seriotasun argia helburu duen eduki guztiak. Atal baten berezko egitura betetzen ez duten edukiak lehiaketatik baztertuko dira. Kategoria honetako serieek honako sari hauek jasoko dituzte:
PILOTURIK ONENA

SERIE DIGITALEKO TRAILERRA
Serie digitaleko trailerra bi minutu baino gutxiagoko formatu laburra da, serie digital bat irudikatzen duena, eta haren irudien laburpen bat da, fikziozkoa zein ez-fikziozkoa (ikusi definizioa goian). Inoiz ekoitzi gabeko lana izan daiteke (fake trailer, teaser trailer), edo ekoitzitako lana (trailer). Kategoria honetako trailerrek honako sari hauek jasoko dituzte:
TRAILER ONENA
Saria proiekzioaren egunean bozkatuko dute botoa ematea erabakitzen duten bertaratuek. Bertaratutako pertsona bakoitzak BEHIN eman ahal izango du botoa guztira, boto-orri bat emango da eta gustukoen duen serie bat, bi edo hiru bozkatu ahal izango dira. Boto bakoitzak puntu bat emango dio bozkatutako serieari. Boto gehien lortu dituen trailerraren emaitza irabazlea izango da.

9. Datu babestea
Tratamenduaren arduraduna: Bildutako datuen arduraduna Floston Kultura Elkartea da (IFZ: F95782371; helbidea: Erronda 31 4 D, Bilbao 48005, Bizkaia), SeriesLand Jaialdiaren antolatzaile eta arduraduna den heinean. Klausula honek arautzen du parte-hartzaileek izena emateko formularioa betetzerakoan ematen dituzten datu pertsonalen bilketa eta tratamendua.
Parte hartzeko izen ematea: Jaialdian parte hartzeko inskripzioaren bidez, parte-hartzaileak bere identifikazio-datuak ematen ditu –hala nola izen-abizenak eta helbide elektronikoa–, jaialdian izena emateko tramiteak egiteko eta parte-hartzea ahalbidetzeko. Datu horien tratamenduaren oinarri juridikoa parte-hartzailearen baimenean oinarritzen da. Haren datuak komunitatearen parte den eta erregistratuta dagoen bitartean gordeko dira, salbu eta beste epe batzuk aplikatu behar badira.

Identifikazio-datuak eman beharko ditu, baita harremanetarako mezuaren arrazoia, gaia edo auzia ere. Azkenik, edozein aldaketa idatziz jakinarazi ahal izango du parte-hartzaileak, edo baja eskatu, emandako edozein helbidetara jota. Parte-hartzaileak noiznahi aurkeztu ahal izango du erreklamazio bat Datu Babeseko Espainiako Bulegoan, bere eskubideak baliatzeko.

COMPETITION RULES / BILBAO SERIESLAND

Scope of the Festival
The Floston Cultural Association calls for the 10th Edition of the Festival. This brings together the best short-format entertainment content in different categories with the aim of promoting innovation in formats and creativity in the sector. The Floston Cultural Association, with NIF F95782371, is the entity that directs and manages the Seriesland Festival, through, as its maximum representative, the "Organization" and the "Direction" of the Festival.
Participation Registration
The participation registration period is from May 1st to July 31st, 2024. Registration is done through FILMFREEWAY. www.filmfreeway.com/BilbaoSeriesland. All registration fees are non-refundable and the event may be canceled without prior notice or held online. Fees can be consulted on FILMFREEWAY. The technical form must be completed with the details, as well as providing a link for online viewing (it can be private, but it must be posted online). Details about the series may be modified by the festival if deemed necessary. The corresponding fees will be paid, one for each series and/or trailer, otherwise the registration will not be effective. The registration fee will be considered as a donation to help create the festival.
Each work must be accompanied by an individual registration.
The person submitting the form confirms being of legal age and guarantees the full authorship and originality of the work, as well as ownership of the rights to it or having the necessary authorizations for its use. In the same sense, the person registering will be responsible to the Festival Organization for any infringements, compensations, or other damages that may arise for the latter due to the breach of these guarantees of originality and authorship and/or rights ownership.
Registration for this festival is not exclusive of the right to participate in any other festival, contest, or related event.
Two months before the festival date, participants will be notified by email.
The person submitting confirms being of legal age, as well as the producer/director/creator or acting on behalf of them. The submitter is the author or must have express permission from them, as well as holding all rights, both to the images and sounds and the soundtrack. The person submitting the series will assume all charges in case of a legal accusation for these rights; the festival is not responsible for any breaches of this rule.
Information about the works
The SERIESLAND Festival Direction reserves the right to request from participants the complete and truthful credits regarding the work of the pre-selected trailer.
In case of any discrepancy, the Festival Direction reserves the right to declare a candidacy ineligible.
The Festival Organization will not be responsible for errors or omissions in the information provided to it. In case of detecting falsehood in any of the supplied data, the Festival Direction may eliminate the participation of the candidacy.
Selection, jury, and voting
The Festival organization will make public on its website or social networks the list of trailers that will participate in the 4th Edition.
Regarding the candidacies, a jury will select the winners of each category. The Festival jury will be composed of professionals from the audiovisual industry, arts, and culture. The jury's decisions are subject to its discretion, according to its loyal and professional knowledge. However, judging will be based on the technical quality and technical-creative merit of its creators, and language or origin will not be taken into account. The committee and jury's decision are final and unappealable.
The indicated pre-selection dates, candidacy voting, and nominations may be modified by the Festival Direction, for logistical, organizational, or any other reasons.
The jury's decision will be made public at the Bilborock celebration gala, which will take place on November 8-9, 2024.
Material and authorization for use
At the time the nominated candidacies for any specialty are made public, participants will provide the Festival Direction with a link to a public Youtube, with a copy of the work in HD and H264 format.
All copies or materials that do not meet optimal quality requirements may be rejected.
Registration for the Festival, and the submission of a trailer to the Awards, imply granting the SERIESLAND Festival, by the owners of its rights, authorization for the use of the work for reproduction, public communication, and transformation, within the framework of the promotion and delivery of the SERIESLAND Festival Awards, as well as authorization for the use, including adaptation or transformation for the intended purposes, of all promotional materials, photographs, music, and images for any activity or the realization of any informative or promotional element of the Festival Awards. Likewise, the individuals participating in the Festival gala and any other events organized in relation to these awards authorize the use of their image for any activity or the realization of any informative or promotional element related to the Festival.
Awards presentation
Each Festival award will consist of a mention and the delivery of a representative trophy.
The award will be delivered to the person registered as a representative and declared as a winner by the jury in their category. In the case of categories shared by more than one person, the trophy will be given to the person listed as the maximum responsible in the contest registration. If the award falls to legal entities, they must designate a physical representative responsible for the work done in the corresponding category.
The economic amounts delivered will be subject to the tax withholdings that are mandatory in application of the current tax regulations (up to now 20% of IRPF).
The trophies will be manufactured expressly for this purpose and in an exclusive edition.
Only one trophy will be given per award. However, the Festival Direction may authorize a duplicate upon express request of the awarded person when there are several responsible individuals in a category, or when requested by an awardee, and whose cost must be borne by the interested parties.
The Festival Organization is not responsible for shipping trophies by postal mail or courier. In case the awarded participants do not attend the event and wish to have the trophy sent to them, they must expressly request it within 15 days after the Festival and assume the shipping costs. If after 15 days the winner does not claim their recognition, it will not be effective.
Acceptance of these conditions and modifications
Registration and participation in the Festival imply the participants' unconditional acceptance of all the terms contained in these Rules.
The Festival Direction reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time, respecting current legislation, in order to achieve the Festival's successful completion, and after duly communicating it to the participants.
Candidacy conditions
Participation is allowed, regardless of when the work is created and/or distributed, but with preference for content from 2023 and 2024 and shorter than 20 minutes in duration.
Language and origin will not be taken into account, but subtitles in English and/or Spanish are mandatory. Non-English-speaking series must be subtitled in English, those in English, in Spanish, and series in Basque, in English or Spanish, interchangeably.

DIGITAL FICTION SERIES:
A digital fiction series is understood as a serialized fiction content consisting of a minimum of three episodes and distributed (at least what is presented) initially on the Internet.
Each web series may compete for more than one award. Categories and awards are subject to change if deemed necessary by the festival.

A digital non-fiction series is understood as a serialized content with non-fiction content, documentary, informative, entertainment, "influencer" style, or any other non-fiction content consisting of a minimum of three episodes and distributed (at least what is presented) initially on the Internet. The awards that series in this category are eligible for are:

DIGITAL SERIES PILOT
A digital series pilot is understood as any content with a clear serial intention, those contents that do not comply with a structure proper to an episode will be discarded from the contest. The award that series in this category are eligible for is:

DIGITAL SERIES TRAILER
A digital series trailer is understood as a short format of less than two minutes that represents a digital series, serving as a summary of images from the series, both fiction and non-fiction (see definition above). It can be a never-produced work (fake trailer, teaser trailer) or a produced work (trailer). The award that trailers in this category are eligible for is:
BEST TRAILER
The award will be voted on the day of the screening by the attending and present people who decide to cast their vote. Each attendee may vote a total of ONE time, a ballot will be provided and one, two, or three favorite series can be voted for, each vote will grant one point to the voted series. The most voted trailer will be the winner.
9. Data protection
Data controller: the data controller for the collected data is the Floston Cultural Association, with NIF F95782371 and address at c/Ronda 31 4 D, Bilbao 48005 (Bizkaia), in its capacity as organizer and responsible for the SeriesLand Festival. This clause regulates the collection and processing of personal data provided by participants at the time of participation registration by completing the form.
Participation registration: by participating in the Festival, the participant provides their identifying data, such as name, surname, and email, for the processing of registration in the Festival and to allow their participation. The legal basis for the processing of such data is based on the participant's consent. Their data will be kept as long as they are part of the community and are registered, unless other deadlines apply.
Contact: The participant can contact, through info@seriesland.eus. They must provide their identifying data, as well as the reason, subject, or question. The Floston Cultural Association will use this data to process the query and contact the participant.
The legal basis for the processing of such data is based on the participant's consent. The data retention period for this purpose will be one year, unless other deadlines apply.
Exercise of rights: likewise, the participant may revoke the consent for the processing, exercising the rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, opposition, and limitation of the processing, notifying the Floston Cultural Association through an email addressed to info@seriesland.eus or indicating it at the above-mentioned address, indicating as the subject "Data Protection". On special occasions, we may request that the participant prove their identity with an official document, for example, to prevent access to their data by third parties.
Finally, the participant may communicate any modifications in writing or request the cancellation, indicating it at any of the provided addresses. At any time, the participant may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency to enforce their rights.
