SEVENTH ART
From the Silver screen to reality, via the realm of dreams and wonders,
Videographer Mickael Ankri invites us to enter a parallel world.

INTUITION
After a long work of observation, an experimental visual concept takes shape.
A surreal vision of the system, which will later become HYPNOESIS [Sleep and Awakening]

COMPOSITION
In a maze of streets, handheld camera, a story takes shape.
Connexion of slogans, subliminal messages on billboards and advertising propaganda,
these sequences of reflections were filmed on the spot.
A collage of kaleidoscopic visuals restructures a giant puzzle.
After 5 years of directing and editing,
(which could be one of the most complex assembly ever put together),
the project reaches completion with the work of Paolo Carnevali,
supporter of the concept and ingenious musician.
After such a colossal work, with hours of recording studio, a cosmic soundtrack is born, giving life to the film, as if the images were now dancing on an enchanted rhythm.

FUSION
The result of this collaboration will reach a unique level.
A new artistic alchemy, fusioned in an unprecedented style.

PROJECTION
The world premiere took place in London on December 17th, 2012, in a London mythical cinema, The Phoenix.
Simultaneously in tune with the moment and the elements,
it could not have been a better place to show the film during that apocalyptic time, with an end of world predicted by the Mayas and the media on December 21st 2012, than a Phoenix that was going to be reborn from its ashes.

REPERCUSSION
The film was after projected in the mysterious basement of the White Rabbit Cocktail Club
in Stoke Newington;
in the legendary Fiddler Elbow in Camden Town; then at the 10th Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival in Slovenia.
HYPNOESIS continued its trajectory via the Underground scene until its next evolution...

INSPIRATION
Inspired by the Cinematic experience,
BREAK ON TRUTH becomes the next expression emanating from the project.
The idea rests on the same principle: To make the invisible visible, through an icon...

SYMBOLIZATION
The Keyhole evokes an opening towards infinity, revealing a spiral, penetrating rigidity.
A sparkle of light shines at the end of the tunnel, such as the sun dwells on top of the clouds.
We either aim for it or wait for it, in order to feel its energy.
Sometimes, this light manifests itself by the strength of the imagination.

REACTION
Everything behind the veil of our consciousness can become accessible.
To realize the importance of our existence can help us realize the illusion around and put us in frequency with the moment, thus allowing us to break through the wall and see another reality.

EVOLUTION
Language, icons and symbols were conceived with a particular function.
Communication being the key, these tools serve us to express an idea, a thought and even our deepest dreams.

(Hypnoesis is Mickael Ankri’s Great Work, an alchemical fusion of thoughts, vision and perception, an ambitious project, which lasted 5 years altogether, adding with intuitive musician Paolo Carnevali’s stunning and groundbreaking soundtrack.)
