We have two feature film presentations, "Predecessor of Phantoms" by Jonah Weddle and "Son of the Soil" by Chee Keong Cheung. Later that evening mingle and cut loose during the after party at Zero Latency VR gaming and axe throwing.

A special screening of "Hierarchy" and Q&A with Russell Reed and Collins (Chiderah) Uzowulu, a screening of "Spades" with Q&A by actor/producer Jason Narvy (Skull) of the Power Rangers and a conversation on distribution led by the highly knowledgeable Linda Nelson and Michael Madison of Indie Rights. After the films wrap prepare for another networking mixer party with pool and drinks at the Golden Horn.

Join us for the world premiere of "Predecessor of Phantoms" 8/14th at 6:00pm and a special Q&A with Director/Actor Jonah Weddle and the Austin premiere of Son Of The Soil by Chee Keong Cheung. This ticket is ONLY for this screening and the rest of the movies Friday night. If you want access to the rest of the festival screenings please purchase a festival pass.

There will be LIMITED seating for the screening and panel discussion of "Predecessor of Phantoms" with director Jonah Weddle. VIP tickets will be given preference, then Friday Night Premiere Only screening tickets, then general festival passes will be granted admission. The movies will start at approximately 6pm and 8:30pm Friday Night.

Predecessor of Phantoms:

Red Carpet Interview 5 - 15 minutes
Be interviewed by our professional host. Not only will this interview potentially go up on Austin Action Fest & Market's facebook page, it will also be on the Rumble, Youtube and Instagram channels. You will also get a copy of this footage in HD to help you market your career or projects.

Welcome to boot camp! 8/14th - 9am - 3pm. This is great for actors looking to add to their skill set and beginner stunt people. This class will cover what we believe are the bare minimums you should know before doing stunts on set. If you have never taken stage combat or haven't trained for it in a while, this is where you need to be! (This class is INCLUDED in the Advanced Stunt Intensive ticket. You can upgrade to an advanced ticket for $200.00 if you would like to attend that class after taking the basic class.)

Stage Combat, Selling Reactions, Basic Weapons (Firearm and blade) Training, Basic Wrecks/Falls and intro to wirework. This class is also kid friendly as long as they have the ability to follow basic instructions safely.

You also get the chance to signup for a free Open Casting call happening in the same location for casting directors and producers. So if you have a monologue prepared or simply want to cold read, you'll get a chance to do that as well! Spots are limited so once you buy your ticket, make sure and contact us to let us know you'd like to perform.
