Wesley Rickert is a Canadian director, writer & producer of no-budget art house features. Between film projects he is a performance poet, noise musician, DIY audio producer, visual artist and sculptor. His art house films combine his obsession for working with the aesthetics of abstract fictional characters and his zeal for exploring diverse elements of experimental cinema. Favouring the company of other artists, film makers and poets, Wes has worked with such masters as American post-beat poet Steve Dalachinsky, multi-media artist and art criminal Istvan Kantor and the legendary Canadian sound poet bill bissett.
