Varanasi - The City of Nirvana

I always considered Varanasi/Kashi/Banaras, situated in Uttar Pradesh (India), a Hindu pilgrimage. But, when I visited this city, all my misconceptions cleared up. Varanasi is truly more than just a spiritual or religious destination. Being in Varanasi feels like attaining 'Nirvana'.

Kashi is beyond any faith.
Kashi is beyond any spirituality.
Kashi is beyond any religion.
Kashi is beyond life.
Kashi is beyond death.

I witnessed that millions of people visit this place from different corners of the world attracted by its amazing positive vibe. I can never forget the miraculously beautiful days during the 'Dev Deepawali' festival.

In the spiritual history of India, Kashi shines like the Sun.

This montage-cum-documentary travel film, conceptualized, filmed, and edited by me, captures the essence of Varanasi from dawn to dusk. It took 10 days to shoot (8 hours a day over two separate trips of 5 days each).
