Pierre Redon is a French avant-garde music composer and transdisciplinary artist. He is also an author, musician, producer, photographer, filmmaker, known for Marche Sonore and founder of the multimedia studio Les Soeurs Grées.

For an artist of his generation, Pierre Redon's work today is most singular, placing environmental and anthropological concerns at the core of the use of a wide variety of media. He navigates between sound creation, filmmaking, anthropological and sociological research, documentary practice, photography, textile art, cartography and publishing.

Pierre Redon is notably the creator of Marche Sonore, a composite project that weaves the words of the inhabitants together with sound documentary and cartography.
