International Tourism Film Festival "Tourfilm Riga" is the member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals CIFFT since 2009 (www.cifft.com).
14th International Tourism Film Festival „Tourfilm – Riga 2021” will be held in Riga on October 1st 2021. Tourism films presenting tourism products or specific cities, regions, states as tourism destinations will be judged in the following categories: Tourism Destinations -Cities, Tourism Destinations- Regions, Tourism Destinations -Countries, Tourism Products, Tourism Services, Independent Travel Video and Latvian Tourism Product.

Festival is organized by the Riga City Council.

Awards & Prizes

The selected films will be judged by the professional international jury. Only the winners will be notified by e-mails in September. Symbolic awards will be given in each category and the main award – the Grand Prix will be selected from the award winners. The Award ceremony will be held in Riga on October 1st, 2021. The winners will be inserted in our web-site www.tourfilmriga.lv after the Award ceremony.

Rules & Terms

Application form must be submitted out online in the web-page of the Festival: www.tourfilmriga.lv
We accept films not longer than 30 minutes and not older than 3 years in English language or with English subtitles .
Closing date for entries – 30th of June, 2021, entry is free of charge.
A link to the film that is uploaded on one of video-sharing websites (Youtube or Vimeo) should be included in the Application form. By submitting the film, the Applicant takes responsibility for the content of registered film and for observing copyrights, as well as agrees on screening the film during the Show free of charge and agrees that the film will be posted on the Festival’s web page www.tourfilmriga.lv as well as on the CIFFT home page “Rank list”, in case of the award.     First of all, I would like to extend my heartiest thanks to the Festival for considering my film as the second-best film in the Independent Travel Film Category. Festival director Sandra Inkena is so down to earth who always responds to your mail whenever you try to approach the Festival. The films are cautiously chosen and only those fall in the exact eligibility criteria are chosen. The Jury members are well-known artists and personalities. I really had a great experience with "Tourfilm Riga". I would love to participate again in the future. Love!
