About MOC
Masters of Cinema - International Festival for independent creators based in Italy with an aim to find professionals in different forms of Art and present them through the world and our audience.
We honor such masters as Tarkovsky, Scorsese, Spielberg and etc., and believe that time has come for the new wave of icons of cinema.
Here at MOC, we're building international relationships with independent filmmakers from all over the world.
Every work is judged by a group of professionals from the Italy film industry.
MOC has a monthly structure with yearly screenings in the capital of Italy Rome.
Every year we're selecting 50 works that will run in our program and 3 creators that will have the opportunity to join and work with a crew of Italian professional filmmakers.

Rules & Terms

The films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English).
The scripts must be written in English.
By submitting the film or script, the submitter agrees that:
1.MOC can use trailer/teaser/film poster/stills or BTS and script excerpt for promotional purpose (but do not release, under any form or circumstances, the full film or script)
2.Entry fees are non-refundable.
3.The submitter owns all the rights to the film or script.
4.Submission cannot be withdrawn after the announcement of the official selection.
5.MOC Has right to change the date and place of the annual event.
6. Committee jury can be change.

    This is the first negative review I've left on a festival. In May 2022 I decided to order the trophy as the winner of "Best COVID Work" for our documentary "La soledad de los que no existen" in this festival, "Master of Cinema". I have been receiving delays through a personal email from gmail that asked me for patience due to some problems they were having with suppliers and so far, in November, I have not received the trophy paid through FilmFreeway (303,8€) nor have I received any explanation through the portal's help.
    I am very disappointed by the festival and by Filmfreeway support. I feel cheated and helpless. I do not recommend participating, you are being taken for a ride.
