Marina Sasina is a Russian screenwriter and film director. Born on November 21, 1973 in the city of Mtsensk, Orel region. In 1997 she graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the Oryol State University. Then she worked for ten years as a journalist and editor of print and electronic Media. In 2007 Marina graduated from Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography – VGIK (Mosсow) with honors in scriptwriting.

Marina made her debut in 2018 as a director and producer of the independent short film "Nobody, Nowhere, Never" based on her own script. The film has 67 Оfficial Selections of international film festivals and 47 awards.
