The 5th edition of the Kuma Anime Film Festival takes place on November 1, 2020 in the city center of Bruges.

During the course of 1 day, we present a quality selection of the best national and international Japanese Anime/Animation to our audience, in a unique, intimate and cosy atmosphere! We also host lectures and organise special events that enrich the visitor’s knowledge.

The Kuma Anime Film Festival is definitely a unique chance to see some of the best Japanese Anime/Animation Films on the big screen!

Rules & Terms

- The submitted film can’t be released on the Belgian sales and or VOD market before November 2020.
- Only films that are produced within 12 months prior to the Kuma Anime Film Festival, are selected
- Only films that are subtitled in English or Dutch are accepted
- Short films can’t last longer than 25 minutes, including credits
- Feature films need to last at least 60 minutes
