An outstanding Greek film director, with 11 feature films, more than 60 awards, member of the European Film Academy, with articles and references on his films, worldwide. Born in Athens he studied cinema and architecture.

"MEDEA" (2022) gained 22 awrds and was characrerized as "a unique visual and sound ecstasy, rarely felt in cinema today".
His debut film "Addio Berlin" (1994) gained Jury’s Prize at TIFF for "renweing Greek cinema" while his second feature "No Sympathy for the Devil" (1997) was nominated for Golden Alexander and gained the Best Actress Award.

"2000+1 Shots" (2001) was selected in Senses of Cinema by B. Mousoulis among the 10 best films for 2001. "Three Days Happiness" (Cairo, Sevilla), "Invisible" (Shangai), "Labyrinth" (2019), "The Gaze Adventure" (2023) are his latest films,
