Director Statement

I am one of the very few people to have lived in LA and decided to never drive a car. I relied on the bus and metro. One day, on the metro red line, two dance crews came on the car one after the other. They were immediately followed by a crew of Santa Clause cosplayers. I remember thinking - what's the silliest kind of artist that could be on the metro?

That is what inspired this mockumentary. In following an overly optimistic and naive stand-up comedian, I was able to tap into the eccentric and endearing personalities all over the city. It doesn't matter how much money they make, or if they're even good at all. Because all that matters is making someone smile.
