*Sociologist (UFMG) and Master in Urban Planning by IPPUR-UFRJ, producer and director by the Darcy Ribeiro Film School - RJ. *He was a photographer at Instituto INHOTIM and assistant director of short films and documentaries.

What brings the King of Belgium Alberto I to Brazil in 1920? What country did you see? How was it seen? This research documentary dates back 100 years later to the visit of the King of Belgium, the first by a European monarch to the young Brazilian Republic, in three Brazilian cities, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, through the process of researching image collections , documents and material from the Brazilian and Belgian press, gathered for the first time in a film to show, through a foreign gaze, a Brazil that was still building its self-image as a country and image at an international level.
