Pam Ross explains how the song was born:
"I was playing at a bar in Austin, TX. While on stage, I saw the bartender spitting 100 proof out his mouth & lighting it on fire. The flames shot upward toward the roof. That was the genesis of the song. From there I added bits & pieces from places I've played... and gotten drunk with friends. It's that bar where you made a lot of crazy memories with your friends."
