Mark is a former university administrator and now a full-time writer. His two young adult novels (An Audience for Einstein and A Friend Like Filby) have won numerous awards. Something of a wannabe stand-up comedian at both work and home, he is most fond of writing comedy screenplays. His hobbies include reading, all things cinema, gardening (not too successfully,) and amateur astronomy.
