Director Biography - Dani Pagliarello

Daniela Pagliarello (BFA York University 2009) has performed on many stages across Canada for audiences of dance, theatre and comedy, garnering a Best Actress nomination for her gender bending role in the play "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui".

She founded Food n’ Money Productions which produces digital comedy content. Her first web series FOOD N’ MONEY caught the attention of the Toronto underground comedy scene. She then created her second series, SHITTY ROOMMATE due later this year.

She is a writer, director, producer and show runner and is currently in development for her third series EVIL HAGS.

Daniela received her training as an Actor from York University as a student of their distinguished Acting Conservatory, having previously trained as a company dancer for 15 years. She lives in Toronto.

Collaboration is key.

An important aspect for every series is working with artists from all different scenes. Comedians, people from theatre and film community and also musicians locally and internationally to produce a fun and eclectic sound for the story to dance to.
