I wrote and directed my first play in 2003, while still a student. Since then I have directed my own work at London theatres including the main house of the Hackney Empire, and worked with other professional theatre directors on productions at venues including Riverside Studios and the Cockpit. After transitioning to the world of film, I shot my debut feature, Passing Through, in 2019, with a name cast and Emmy-winning cinematographer. Passing Through began its festival run in 2023, winning the Brenda Blethyn First Feature Award at the 2023 Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival.
