An advocate for storytelling and how it heals us from the inside, out.
Caroline Heinle is a bi-coastal actor, writer and producer. She began her training at The Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with minors in Political Science and Theater.
After studying in London, Heinle relocated to Los Angeles, where she worked in film, television and commercials, and wrote and performed live sketch comedy with the Strait Jacket Society Comedy Troupe. It is with the comedy troupe that she fell back in love with writing again.
In 2016, she relocated back to NYC to have spinal fusion surgery for idiopathic scoliosis. Throughout her treatment, she shared weekly blogs and vlogs, which gained press in the NY Post and Daily Mail. She is passionate about telling stories and the quote, "Art is made to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed."
Heinle is on the Advisory Board for the nonprofit organization, Back to Healing, and her short film, WHITE NOISE, based on her journey with scoliosis, made its way through the 2023 festival circuit and is now being prepared for it's 2024 release.
Most recently, she has received 2 nominations and 2 wins for Best Actress, 1 nomination for Best Writer and 1 nomination for Best Dramatic Short Film for her work on WHITE NOISE. She has received 3 wins and 2 Best Actress nominations for her work in STILL, a psychological thriller about sleep paralysis, and 1 Best Actress in a Comedic Short win for her work in The Pinch Hitter.
