Raised primarily by my older sister, my single mother worked two jobs to support me, my three sisters, and my bedridden grandmother. I struggled with school, exiting without qualifications -- I was later diagnosed as neurodivergent.
Despite the aforementioned, I've contributed as a writer to newspapers, radio and television, and I soon found my footing as a feature film screenwriter. I've been lucky enough to work with some of the most well-regarded people in the entertainment industry, including 20th Century Fox, The BBC, Buena Vista, Sky TV, Netflix and many other fantastic entertainment generators.
Making short films became an outlet for me - some screened at Oscar-qualifying events such as Ciff, VIFF, Curtas Villa Do Conde International Film Festival, and notable festivals such as Bend Film Festival, Frightfest and Macabro.
I'm grateful that me and my teams work has also been displayed at renowned organisations such as BAFTA and The British Society of Cinematographers.
However, my short film Warhol winning the 'Jury Award for Social Relevance' in 2014 at the 27th Festival De Cinema De Girona was a career high point for me. Which is also why I made the feature film version of my latest film, Warhol.
My first feature film 'Lair' was distributed across various platforms and streaming services by Studiocanal, Universal Pictures, Sony and more — with distributors MGM (and others) releasing Lair theatrically.
'Warhol,' is my postcard to the dystopian denigration of the instant gratification generation - or, as some call it, social media.
I'd always writing, creating and finding new and exciting people to work with and learn from. Thanks for checking out my page.
